New working group appointed

Sauchie Juniors can confirm that Noel Dalli and Robert McAdam have been appointed to the club’s new working committee.

Noel will head the group, which will oversee the running of the club, while Robert will fill the role of secretary.

Both appointments were made at last Friday evening’s EGM.

Noel said: “We have got a fantastic opportunity to move forward and with myself and Robert in place, we are in a good position for the club to go on and consolidate its position in the Super League.

“Over the next couple of weeks we will be speaking to players, both old and new, and continuing the process of rebuilding the squad for the coming season.

“We are making good progress on the field, but you have to get it right off it too. You have to have stability, and it’s very important that everyone is singing from the same hymn sheet. We need the fans to do their bit.”

Robert added: “The two of us have a lot of experience with Sauchie Juniors. We have followed the club, we have been on the committee before, and we know what it’s all about. Now our job is to get the rest of the people in place to make sure Sauchie Juniors moves forward.”
